Linear Amplifier Modules
The M/A-COM Telford LPA (linear amplifier modules) provide Ultra Linear performance at economical prices. These modules cover the popular Cellular, PCS and WLL frequency ranges. The modules are simple to cascade since they are internally matched to provide input and output impedance's of 50 ohms. They include DC biasing, RF Blocking and bypass capacitors. They are unconditionally stable, and provide a high level of linear performance over a high range of operating conditions. The LPA amplifiers have found extensive use in applications where signal levels require amplification over a wide dynamic range from the noise floor to +20 dBm output power levels providing carrier to intermod levels of 60 dBc corresponding to a two tone third order intercept of +50 dBm. The unique circuit matching, linearization and biasing techniques achieve state of the art intermodulation performance with IP3's up to 20 dBm above the 1 dB compression point with excellent phase linearity. These amplifiers are offered in a wide variety of packaging configurations including connectorized if desired.
