M/A-COM Extends Product Offerings
Through Addition of Stellex Electronics

M/A-COM, a part of Tyco Electronics, announced that through the recent addition of Stellex Electronics, including Stellex Broadband Wireless ("Stellex"), M/A-COM has extended its product offerings and solutions to customers in both communications and defense markets. Stellex Electronics, with offices in San Jose, California, and Telford, Pennsylvania, manufactures components and subsystems for the telecommunications and defense industries.

The combination of M/A-COM and Stellex has extended M/A-COM’s product offerings in wireless and wired communications, particularly millimeter radio, synthesizer-based radio source products, and wireless infrastructure power amplifiers. In addition, Stellex brings a strong capability in defense subsystems to complement M/A-COM's aerospace and defense business. M/A-COM customers now have a broader array of solutions to meet their needs.
