You can determine your window settings by right-clicking between icons on your desktop. Choose properties and the settings tab. Your screen resolution is to the right and font size to the left. The recommended size for 17" or smaller monitors is 800 by 600 with small fonts. Set the number of colors to the maximum allowed. Sometimes they have been inadvertantly set to less than maximum.

If you have chosen other settings due to personal preference or to compensate for vision problems, you can change font size in the browser to enhance a particular page. Select "View" from the menu bar and then "Text Size" for Internet Explorer and "Increase Font, Decrease Font for Navigator.

To determine your browser and version, select "Help" and "about your browser name".
