by web designer David Siegel to the North Bay Multimedia Association
at the Digital Village which drew a standing room only crowd.
Internet
Marketing Seminar. Produced seminar on Marketing on the
Internet, and moderated panel of authors and game producers
marketing their products online. Co-sponsored by the San Rafael
Chamber of commerce and the Digiquest Learning Center.
Created
and Produced Multimedia competition for the Marin County Fair.
Established judging criteria, selected judges, designed flyers,
promoted the competition, and coordinated the judging. 1995
and 1996.
Coordinated
exhibits at the Multimedia Funhouse, Marin County Fair. Solicited
participation from the multimedia community, coordinated exhibit
space, invited, coordinated and announced theater presentations.

Business
of New Media Seminars. Developed, promoted and staged seminars
on the Business of New Media which included programs on planning,
legal strategies, financing, marketing, and management. 1995.
Created
and Produced the Electronic Picnic. Billed as a day of Multimedia
Fun and Discovery, this outdoor/indoor community event included
food, live music and entertainment, seminars, and demonstrations
of educational software, games, edutainment titles, corporate
productions, virtual reality, and online media created by local
companies. 1994 and 1995. Consulted on the 1996 picnic.
Media
Cafe. Started a monthly salon at a Marin County tavern where
media professionals could meet and discuss issues in an informal
setting. 1993-94.
Produced
Interactive Showcase, Mill Valley Film Festival. Co-creator
and producer of the first Interactive showcase at the Mill Valley
Film Festival. Wrote the promotional materals for the Festival
Program. 1993.
Produced
ongoing lecture series. Produced and promoted a monthly
lecture series for the North Bay Multimedia Association, showcasing
new work by multimedia developers, publishers, artists, and
philosophers like Joe Sparks, David Biedny, Ted Nelson, 1992-95,

desktop video show held at Autodesk. Created and produced
an all day desktop video showcase with speakers and demonstrations
of state of the art hardware and software. 1992.
