Oh, the Places You'll Go!

The Fox in Socks has just finished washing his socks and is hanging them on the clothesline to dry. But those naughty Tweetle beetles keep sneaking in and running off with one from each pair. Mr. Fox needs your help in tracking down those little rascals so he can get his missing socks back and have matching pairs!

As you travel through Seussville, you'll find some interesting things going on and your help is requested everywhere! Have a good time, and remember to keep your socks on! Insert image:

Your journey will begin at The Fox In Socks' main picker screen. From here you can dick on any of Mr. Fox's socks. Each sock takes you directly to a game. In each game it takes 3 rounds of play to win a sock back for Mr. Fox. You'll see a meter that shows your progress and keeps track of where you are in the game. This way if you stop playing for awhile, you'll know where you left off when you return to the game. Once you've completed all three rounds of a game, a Tweetle beetle will run out, drop off a mate from one of Mr. Fox's pairs of socks, and zip away. You'll automatically be taken back to The Fox In Socks' main picker screen, where Mr. Fox will hang the retrieved sock back on the line, and encourage you to select your next game. Just click on a sock, and off you'll go.

Cats' Hats

We're here at the home of the alphabet cats
The ones with the letters on top of their hats
The Cats don't say much because they're vely shy
But they have a new game that they'd like us to try..

. Those frolicsome little cats are playing a matching game. Click on a cat. He'll tip his hat and show you what he's hiding. Then dick on the other cat who you think is hiding the same item.

In Level 1, the cats will take their hats off, so that you can see the letters on top of their hats. Click on the two cats who have the same letter on their hats. In Level 2, the cats will keep the letters hidden beneath their hats. Click on a cat to have him show you what he's hiding. Then, find the cat with the matching letter.In Level 3, the cats get trickier. This time they're keeping letters and pictures under their hats. Your job is to match a letter to a picture of a word that begins with that letter.

When all the little cats have been matched, they'll perform a little song for you. And guess what? You'll receive a missing sock from one of Mr. Fox's pairs!

Trapeze/Zoom-a-Zoop Troop

We're here at the circus to get the real scoop
Concerning the fabulous Zoom-a-zoop troop
They fly through the air with the greatest of ease
But they don't know whose turn it is on the trapeze...

Join the acrobats in the amazing Zoom-a-Zoop troop as they fly through the air with the greatest of ease and form a pyramid that defies the laws of gravity!. But they need your help.They can't figure out whose turn it is on the trapeze.Mr. Fox holds a flag with a picture or the name of an object on it. Three acrobats, each wearing leotards that are marked with a different letter, are waiting for their turn on the trapeze. Click on the troop member whose letter matches what appears on Mr. Fox's flag. When you find the right letter, the acrobat who is wearing the letter gets to go for a wonderful nde on the trapeze.

In Level 1, the flaq will have a letter on it. Mr. Fox will say the letter and pronounce the sound. Find the acrobat who has the same letter printed on his leotard and dick on him. You can move your pointer over the flag or the three acrobats wearing letters to hear the letter names and letter sounds.

In Level 2, the flag will have a picture on it. Click the acrobat wearing the letter that begins the word that is pictured on the flag. In level 3, the flag will have a letter on it. Click on the acrobat who is wearing a picture of a word that begins with the letter on the flag.

When all troop members have taken their turns flying through the air, the?II form an incredible pyramid on their chair, and theTweetle beetles will drop off a missing sock from one of Mr. Fox's pairs.

Trapeze/Zoom-a-Zoop Troop will help you with beginning phonics, building your vocabulary, and reading readiness.

The Alphabet Bubbler

In the Desert of Drise there's a wonderful place
Where the Alphabet Bubbler blows bubbles in space
Inside all the bubbles are letters you see
From a bubble with 'A' to a bubble with 'Z'....

The Alphabet Bubbler loves making bubbles. And guess what? Each bubble has a letter of the alphabet inside. But sometimes the bubbles go 'pop' and the letters that were inside fall out. The Alphabet Bubbler needs your help to fix his bubbly alphabet. Click on a letter and put it in one of the empty bubble spaces, so that all the letters appear in alphabetical order. When you're finished, you'll hear a very bubbly ABC song. And you'll be given a missing sock from one of The Fox in Sock's pairs.

The Alphabet Bubbler will help you learn uppercase and lowercase letter recognition and the sequence of the alphabet.
